maybe not quite as much heat sinking ability as the CF, but the plastic one is decent

Just so no one reading this gets the wrong idea, the J's and J's style intake works well, but it's not making tons more power than the next. The dyno results aren't that far off, and I'm sure for every dyno sheet that favors the J's, you can probably find another one that favors the AEM.
I use a J's intake myself, but I've also used a short ram, Comptech, AEM, and stock box w/panel filter. For me, the J's has offered the best throttle response, and for my motor, great torque.
Depending on what you're going for, low end, midrange, or top end, you can pick and choose what works best for you.
-The one thing that everyone agree's on, is the J's has better throttle response than the rest due to it's shape/design.
-The AEM has an awesome bump of midrange power on B series motors, that give's nice kick.
The AEM V2 intake tries to mix the best of both worlds. I haven's seen enough results from that intake to make a decision.

Let's see, a 250 dollar intake, or over a grand for ITB's, yeah that's a fair comparison.

What?!?!?!? You're talkin' madness CF intakes are inexpensive compared to ITB's. Not to mention the poor mileage you're going to get with ITB's.

Which one? There's 4 on that page.
If you're referring to the Top Fuel version, the J's is a knock off of that intake design.
