Default Power gains of gsr head?

Hey guys. I'm new here and had a question for ya. I have a B18 motor in a 94 civic. I was planning on getting a gsr head and intake manifold. What power gains can be expected? Does another head have more potential? Any advice would be appreciated.

it all depends on your set up and what you use(pistons, cams, header, valvetrain, etc)... flow wise, the gsr has the best stock flowing head...

with that said,... you can definitely expect big power gains over your ls right now, even if everything in the head and other components were stock.... hope this helps...good luck...

well, take a look at many of the top honda drag cars (pro stock, modified, or hot rod)... many use gsr heads.... you can ask tom at portflow and alaniz... the head that they prefer is gsr.... but hey, to each his own right?

just my 2 cents...

eddie...

i dunno bout flow

but stock vs stock the gsr usually makes more power because it yields a higher compression ratio, because of the combustion chamber shape.
