Distributor ?'s
I don't know about blowing up your car, but it won't run right if timing is way off. Its a simple swap. Do it yourself and have someone with a timing light and knowledge of how to time an engine time it for you. Don't jam that distributor in there. It should line up and fit nice and snug. I don't know how it's possible to put a honda distributor in 180 off but I have heard of it happening.
Yeah.. I'm really careful when doing stuff that I'm not familiar with.. so I was planing to mark the position of the old distributor and place the new one in the same exact position.... and drive it to a shop and get the timing set...
But I don't think timing should be that bad like to get my engine done... But since I never took this apart.. just wanted to make sure that I'm not going to end up buying a new engine.
