Default JDMshit.com 98-01 ITR lip

I ran a search and did'nt really find aby reviews or testimonials, so here it goes....

Do any of you Integra guys have any experience with the JDMshit.com ITR lip??

This one:

Does it look just like stock? How's the fitament? Is the quality good?

I just wanted to hear what you guys thought of the lip before I buy one.

Thanks.

my friend bought one from them and it looks good. the fitment isnt 100% OEM ( i know cuz i have the OEM one). the edge of the lip where it meets the bumper are fatter and not as flat as the OEM. the material is ABS plastic, but no where close to the urethane material used on the OEM. the ABS will give a little bit of stress, but by far not as much as the OEM ones. there are no mounting locations on the bottom of the lip and u have to drill ur own holes on the side when u secure it to the bumper from the wheel well. if you have a black car, u can hardly notice a difference and if you have a lighter color car, u have to know the difference to see the difference. i m guessing to the avg joe, it will look like any itr lip out there.

Why would I want to spend 200 if I can get one from JDMshit for 115?

Any other testimonials guys?

Honda people are eternally cheap. This answer I realized...which is why I don't bother bringing in the Comptechs anymore

Doing it right the first time

Cheaper parts are cheaper for a reason.

JDMshit makes good products from what I have SEEN, but I have no first hand experience with them. But I'd go for OEM/Comptech lip.

BTW, isn't OEM also ABS plastic? Coulda sworn I read that it was.

if it is only $75 more to get the real OEM one, then there is a good reason for it besides better quality. IT IS PAINTED. I got mine in red.. totally love it.

Therein lies the problem... I can't find a True OEM ITR lip anywhere. I've been to ebay and the like, but I'm trying to sell the car soon, and I'd like to have it look as nice as possible for a potential buyer. Also, it's not that I'm cheap, it's that I'm eternally lazy to try to hunt down an OEM lip. Anybody know of one for sale?

Ok, if you're going to sell the car--DO NOT put anymore money into it. You WILL NOT get the $100+ back from the lip or anything else aftermarket/cosmetic. Just fix (if necessary) the regular maintenance items.

I would like to know where I can find a lip for 200 bones......new

I think just by looking at it that the fitment isn't all that bad. We have all seen worse I am sure. (unless that is really an ITR lip to fool us)

Well, I'm not sure I wanna sell it quite yet. Just keeping it in mind for the future. Also, I just really want an ITR lip!

Anyways, I've seen quite a few pics of the JDMShit Lip. Looks good, not 100% OEM, but good.

Speaking of ABS and Urethane, what is the difference and which is better quality?

unfortunately I am this guys friend but yea, thats me hes talking about.. i painted it myself, so the color doesnt match perfectly, but its all banged up now anyways. heres a pic of my JDM **** lip... fitment was pretty decent. i'm lazy and not much of a perfectionist so I didnt take the extra time to trim a little.. overall im pleased with the quality, fitment and price

Thanks for the info man. I found a pic of his car (looks awesome by the way.)

Both pics of the lip look really good. I think I'm gonna go with the JDMshit lip.

But, I do have one question....

What kind of 'trimming' would i have to do to make it fit 100%? I too am not a perfectionist, but I want it to fit as well as possible.
