Profec has a pretty large following and a very reliable track record, I'd say it's an excellent choice for $200-250.

Hmm interesting, might look into one of these now, especially for the price.

What makes the B special? I mean what can it do that the A or any other boost controller do?

It's just simple. Non of that "Fuzzy [thinking] Logic" crap. It has two boost settings: high and low. I wished it had different boost settings for different gears.. but it is a really nice unit. Hey, where can you find one for $200-$250?

PRofec A is Fuzzy Logic! Fuzzy Logic have these wierd self learning procedures. PRofec B's are great boost controllers for the money and very easy to use! All you have to do is crank up the dial to turn up the boost. There are only 2 settings; Low & High. They also have a nice Sharpness feature which allows you to fine tune how fast you get to the desired boost level!

I agree I hate my fuzzy logic crap. The B is so simple and gets the job done. What I have also heard is that the turbo xs is a good little set up also.

The only problem I have run into is the amount of boost you can run on the PRofec B. It is *Supposedly* only able to boost 1.5x whatever your wastegate is set at! My deltagate had a 7-9 psi spring in it which was limiting me to about 16-17 psi. I swapped out the spring to the 13 psi spring and I have had no problems boosting to 19-20 psi!

So it would still work good for the low boost applications, I really am seriously wanting one of these now. I looked on ebay and the average "buy now" price is around $325, that a decent price?

Where have you seen it for that price?

That's really good.
