could someon tell me where the air intake tempereature sensor is located. i just found 1 half of the wire just dangling in my engine bay. it is red/yellow. i dont know where the sesor is thouhg. im goin to check the intake mani. any help woukld be appreciated

on a 96+ civic its on the intake tube and on the 92-95 its on the driver side of the intake manifold on runner #1.

 

hahahaha my bad, its a 92 civic dx sedan. but the thing is i had an engine swap when i blew out my d15b7. so now theres a d16a vtec, yes d16a. and the intake mani that came with it is *****. it doesent even have all teh vacumm hoses. i had to t off hoses for my charcoal canister and such, friggin sensors dangling all around my engine bay. so now i have two questions. would i be able to put a y8 mani in my eg. is it a direct swap/ and what are the gains? and how would not havein teh intake air tempearture sensor affect performance
