you can run it, but its not going to control vtec...you need a vtec controler for that...

so i dont get it... can u just run a vfac with the pm6 and vtec will activate? or do i have to convert to obd1 and get the p28. if i convert to obd1 can i just use a harness converter or do i need to rewire the whole harnesses/ get obd1 harnesses...or should i just get a rpm switch activator for the vtec, let me know guys, vtec is a new thing to me

first of all, all vtec ecu's have two ignition timing maps, and two fuel maps.

pm6 has one of each. the y7 will work alot better as if it were in the original car if you had the correct ecu running it.

With the VAFC you can bump the fuel map when VTEC engages.

what about ignition timing? who needs that?

just to get it running for cheap, vafc and pm6.

but plan to switch it over to obd1 later.
