Default GSR in a 02 Civic?

so i have heard through a friend that you can fit a GSR motor or a similar motor in my 02 civic. he said that u have to cut out some pieces to make it fit, but that its nothing that will screw up the engine bay. Does anyone know about this or heard of it done? sounds better then putting a 5,000 dollar K20 in it. lol. thanks

It is tru that u can fit the GSR motor and for that fact any B- or K- series engine on ur 02 Civic. The only problem with putting the GSR motor in, and y hardly anyone has done it is that doing so makes ur car illegal. U cant put an engine in from a out of date model into a new car or something like that. Plus it probably causes u to fail emissions.
