ok heres the story, i have a b16 block with some scratches in the cylinders (too deep for honing) so i want to bore them out and put in oversized civic type r pistons.
now, i have a few questions :

1. about how much do they charge to bore out your cylinders. i know each shop is different but can you give me an idea?

2. are shops able to do a good job so that they seal like stock pistons? like if i tell them to bore them to .25 (CTR oversized spec) will they seal like oem?

3. what piston rings do i use?

i wouldnt go to just any shop for work like that..i would look around for experts on the subject and make sure after they bore it you get correct size pistons then get correct size rings and make sure it will all work together.then install it all correctly...good luck
