Who wants to give me some specs on this motor?
damn where did you find that? looks like a whole mugen collection of stuff. too bad that header would never fit on any of our motors due to the dry sump, but def sweet nontheless.
oh crap, I just noticed the itb's as well on it, claiming it right now, sickest d-series motor EVER.

no its not just a valve cover.
All i kno about them is that mugen used them in the late 80s in a few cars. The engine made right around 200whp and was 100% streetable. But, the person that i found the info from, is damn near impossible to get ahold of.

i think it is a first gen. crx motor. i was told that it is to put 200 whp to the ground, only made for a few mugen cars, and u cant buy the parts to replicate it.
its the whole 'HA HA look what we got and u can never have it' sort of jdm stuff

That pic is supposed to be from a Mugen showroom/museum. The old King Motorsport print catalogs would display this engine also, listing it at something like 215 or 225hp (I forget which one but can find it later).
Its a D16A6, dry sump'ed (notice the lack of a filler cap on the valve cover and the shallow pan & plumbing) and I believe carburated.
They used it in these cars and won a couple SCCA GT-3 National Championships:

These are tube-framed fiberglass body cars. Similar to what user "Daigo" runs.
