On a stock d16y7, only spraying at the most a 65 shot, is dry or wet better? and what brand is best in your opinion? Thanks.

nm dude

ANYWAY you're most likely referring to Nitrous? wet will give you more power, direct port if you can, but dry is definatly a lot safer. but not as powerful.

more power = more problems

Open ended question...

What are you planning to do with the car later? Are you going to install a turbo?

You can stay dry but I'd get a automatic bottle warmer (don't DIY the making of the warmer though). Until you learn how to control it and how your car reacts to it...this is the best option.

If you already know, then go wet.

Direct port if you plan on using more juice later (over 100shot) or if you plan on using a controller (like the NX one, not the Venom or Zex)...it's a pain in the *** to install and you wil never be able to hide it from cops (there will always be brightly colored objects sticking out of you intake as a dead give away)

many times you can start small like a dry system and only have to replace a few things to change the type of system it is. If you start off with good stuff from the start, then you won't have to change as much later.

Make sure you get 1 or 2 degree colder spark plugs, even on a 65shot...the Y7 will thank you for it.

I've always like NX Express. But, that's just me.

I really don't have plans for the car later, and I don't think I will ever do a turbo, but things can change very rapidly. I just want an extra little pop now and then, plus my wife and I like to visit the local drag strip every now and then for a little fun, that's all it will really be for.

So plugs, and a bottle warmer are a definite huh? what about a new fuel pump, and a purge kit?

I have been doing most of my research on the zex kit, what is the difference between zex and NX?

thanks for your help.

Don't fry the piston rings, the mad scientist hates replacing those!

i'm using a zex dry kit on my gsr motor with a 60 shot.

the dry kit is a good kit in my opinion....i don't spray much though. i've had the kit for like 3 months and only sprayed 3 times.

to be on the safe side, i got :

msd sci kit
walbro fuel pump
1 step colder plugs
b&m fpr
always use 93 octane gas
retard timing 2-4 degrees

good luck and have fun
