Default MF10, TE37, SW088 and Rega's Evo, all use the type of lug nuts?

I know the stock lugs won't work on them. So can I assume that all aftermarket wheels (Mugen, Spoon, Volk, Regamaster, SSR, 5Zigen...etc) use the same type of lug nuts?

As EP posted. The stocks are acorn, what you see on the left. Aftermarket run conical seats.

No you can't use honda wheel locks... Why not use spoon lugs? Or some kyokugen lugs (7-sided), they're kinda like locks because not many people have a 7-sided key...

I wouldn't advise the aluminum lugs unless you are using generous amount of anti-seaze with them...my SPOON lugs were becoming difficult to remove after 3 months, and we sheared off one of my friends lug nut studs after using a Kyokugen lug nut, which froze on the stud after 3 weeks.

it's been year 2 for me with now seizures (knock on wood), but if you keep your wheel studs clean of rust, and don't force them on and risk stripping u should be okay... i'm more concerned about gouging them with a socket

I assume the Volk Racing lugs are aluminum as well? Are there good non-alloy locking lug nuts that fit Volk or Desmond wheels?

most lightwieght lugs are aluminum or some other soft metal..
just use a high temp anti seize, friction and torque reducer...
fancy name huh...

VOLK calls it DURALUMIN. You may want to try a set Gorillas, http://www.gorilla-auto.com/ they offer a variety of lugs

I personally wouldn't recommend Spoon Lugs, because I have heard they do not have locking lugs...

If I were you I'd go with some Kyokugen lugnuts .. They are all 7 sided, so only the tool they come with can open them.. And don't listen to people who say they break, if you follow the instructions on the box they won't!
