My Fuel Pressure is too high!
I installed a Walboro 255lph fuel pump and a high flo fuel filter w/ a pressure gage; and i also have a B+M FPR. Ever since I installed the new pump the fuel pressure sets at 50psi and will not adjust down. It can be adjusted up but not down below 50psi! Any suggestions?
i have same pump and fpr. with the walbro i gained 8 psi.
The lowest i can get is 42 psi.
you adjusted fuel pressure with the vacuum hose off right?
Tell me what you did when you cut the stock fpr.

Yes I adjust it with the hose off! When I installed it I just cut the hat off and replaced it with the new one and put the spring back in it!
Someone told me to drill the fuel return line a lil bit bigger!

would it make a diffrence if it was on, I adjusted mine up with the hose one and the guage showed the increase in pressure
hmm i installed a 190lph the other day but never re checked, ill do this today thanks guys
but if yall could educate me on the above questions it would be much appreciated.</TD></TR></TABLE>
vacuum hose off simulates full throttle. Yes it does make a difference. Pull the hose off and pressure will increase. You want to set fuel pressure with vac hose off. You're running rich the way you've adjusted it.
Drilling holes in the fpr is new to me. It makes sense. More fuel= the need for a bigger fuel return line.

I cut mine 1/4" above the bulge in the center. Spring isn't as compressed which means the ability to run lower fuel pressure. If you cut it right at the bulge i think you fucked it up.
If i confused you send me an instant message.
