I have a 96 integra and im trying to empty the gas tank. My car has a bolt on the gas tank. I took the bolt off but no gas came out. The car has being sitting for at least 6 months. The car had about a half tank maybe a little less when it was first sitting. Could all that gas have evaporated? The reason why i need to empty the gas tank is I have a fully built gsr motor 12.5 cr and i need to put 93 in it. I still have a couple of finishing touches to do before I start it. Should i try turning the key so the fuel will start circulating just to be sure theres no fuel in the tank. I removed the panel over the fuel pump and theres just a tiny bit of fuel in the tank. So if has any knowledge of this, it would be appreciated.

 

not sure where the hole in the G3 Integra tank is, but jack the car up and when it tilts the fuel will run towards the hole...thats what I did on my buddys CRX when we drained his tank
