Has anyone every seen this????
this weekend I was looking at this guys LS/Vtec Turbo in a 90 hatch and I noticed that he had no distributer, there was nothing there, all the plug wires were plugged in the head but then they just hung down where the distributer should have been. Has anyone ever seen anything like this so I can know what kind of set up this is and what it does? Hes said has car was fully built and runs low 12's a 8 psi....

this has nothing to do with your post really, but my friends Z24 doesn't use plug wires or a distributer.the is a part on the head that just pulls off and you get to the plugs. its kinda weird
Yeah, it was a Electromotive TEAC II.

I think most of ultraspeed is using that ECU.

So many cars have distributorless ignition now. Its not anything new, but he prob had a TEC II or something similar. Is there anyone besides TECII who makes these for Hondas?
That's a crank trigger instead of a distributer... Just uses a distribution box instead of a dist cap... old old old technology.. just new computer enhancements..
