as long as they are TRUELY cast iron, then forged will be good

the question of good for boost depends on how thick the replacement sleeve is, if its a 1mm drop in sleeve or a huge thick slevee like darton or GE use

I DONT CARE WHAT THEY TELL YOU, WHAT SIZE THEY ARE, OR WHO THE HELL IS ENDORSING THEM....DONT USE THEM FOR BOOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nothing against that company but i learned the sleeve lesson the hard way. if its for n/a, then get the cheapest sleeve you can find. if for boost, or any kind of real n2o use go with top name brands.

Didn't you use the sleeves meant for turbo diesel engine? I think they must be strong as those modern diesels have some serious boost (close to 2 bars)

Don't forget that most diesels have like 15-17:1 compression too. Talk about cylinder pressure!

The pressure must be incredible, so that's why I think they are enough durable to carry the moderate boost in H22 (let's say ca. 1 bar).
There was a guy here who got his sleeves made from Mercedes turbo diesel and they seem to be strong enough though.

Another question: how thick are those brand sleeves (Darton)?

yes, I have seen those pix before. But you know there were some other factors: your bore 90mm and rather high boost (19psi) which could help to damage that engne.

I would like to stay at 87mm and moderate boost. So I ask again: how thick should be the sleeves to hold boost on 15 psi level? 3mm or more?
I don't even think about sending my engine to the States to get sleeving done as it would cost me almost another two engines

yes you are right, but i believe that these other sleeves would have held.

i don't think its all about thickness. it has to do with exact material mix, and processing. you can buy sleeves from darton and have them installed locally.

all i can say about those take a chance if you want. but as much as you say you wont go above 15 psi...you will in a month, trust me. especially if all else is built and your not sure about the sleeves, you will push them.

my new machinist said it to me like this, "if you cant afford to do it right, can you afford to do it twice?"

Very true. I can't afford to fix a serious damage in my engine, so I'll save for Dartons then and will have them installed locally.
This is the consensus Thanks.

{edit}
I have just found out Darton is a part of Portugal company, so it could be easier for me to get those sleeves.
