Just a quick question concerning the butterfly plate in the inlet plenum of a 1992 prelude vtec. On either side of the butterfly valve, there’s a gasket (green in colour). When replacing the gaskets (one on each side of the butterfly plate), do these have to be sealed with gasket paste? If they do, do you need to seal both sides of each gasket, or just one side of each gasket?

 

not sure...but i didnt think they had VTECs in 92.
