Default Is it bad to pull out?

I was just wondering if it was bad for the tranny to pull it out of gear with out using the clutch? My buddy was tellin me he does it, but only at or below like 2 grand. Just wondering if this would hurt anything?

If you yank it out it could hurt it,but theres a way to drive stick w/o using the clutch. You just have to match the speed of the gears right.

I always thought pulling out was bad untill I tried it one time. I dont think you can damage anything that way because it doesnt really grind and its kinda convenient not using the clutch (if ya know what I mean)
