Too much as in what?

Pedal stiffness?

Grip?

I'd say nah, it's fine. I have a Exedy Organic on my 5th gen, and it's I/E with a light flywheel.

It feels pretty close to stock, with maybe a little stiffer pedal.

well some1 told me that it wasnt a good idea to get a prolite flywheel cause it would be hard to launch in it.

Does that person actually have a lightened flywheel in their car?

I haven't noticed too much of a difference in my launch. I'm actually getting a little more wheel spin than I did with my stock flywheel. In my opinion, it's all about learning a new setup.

I was told by a friend who has one in his ITR to take it easy for the first 500-1000 miles.

I put 500 on mine, and then gave it a few decent launches and shifts for the next hundred. It feels like it is broken in pretty well.

Are the 92-96 clutches the same as the 97+?

I think so. I'm pretty sure when I ordered my clutch it said 92-01.

92-01 lude and 90-93 accords (pretty sure 94-97 accords as well) are all the same clutch/flywheel

btw, exedy organic clutch (stage 1 i think, like 40% above stock or somthin) and act 12 lb flywheel, feels like stock, wish i had gotten the 9 lb flywheel but i went 500 mile break-in and 1200 miles or so later works perfectly w/ my new (used, but new to me) m2b4 tranny

so is a lot of a bigger difference that u feel with an 8 pound flywheel rather than 12.

not sure if theres a big diff, but i prolly woulda gained another 1-2 whp or so, going from 18lb stock to 12 lb act flywheel, rpms didnt drop as fast as i thought it would which was why i didnt get the 9 lb, but clutch + flywheel + m2b4 made a big diff

I've been running the exedy OEM replacement clutch for the last 1.5yrs and have had no complaints. The total pkg (clutch , pp and t/c bearing) cost me under $100.
