Default CRANE VS. MSD IGNITION

whats a good ignition for lsvtec?? i have a 6al, but not sure if i should run it!!? but im in the process of buying a new one...! so yea man i need help on whats best to get... MSD DIS-2 or CRANE HI-6 CD Ignition??? or what yall recommend is good??? thanks!!!

if your a street guy and wont be seeing alot of track time then the crane is better. if your gonna be racing alot MSD is better.

crane dosnt use pills just a simple dial.

i don't see why a dial, would not be ideal if you drag race. i would rather turn the dial, then have to find the a rpm pill! but thst's my opinion

because a crane 2-3 step costs about $250. and it dosnt work with the FAST system that i use. and what happens if the dial goes bad? you have to fork out another 250. if the msd goes bad 9 outa 10 times you just replace the cheap pills.

the price alone would keep people from buying it, now that i think of it i should be reseiving a msd 2step that i bought here in H-T it was pretty cheap, so i picked it up. now i have to see what would be the easiest way, to set it up on my 88 crx!

i like the crane hi-6 over the MSD ignitions with the "pills"

the MSD digital 6 is a nice unit. probably more comparable to the crane hi-6.
