Default INSTALLING ECU

Is there any problem installing an ecu with all the power connected. Someone suggested that i could have killed my old ecu by installing it with the battery connected. Just wondered what everyone else through.

I've did it with battery connected w/no problem.
It's a good idea to disconnect battery.
better safe than sorry.

Whenever you do electrical, take off the neg batery connection. Sometime I forget tho.
