Default question about disapearing oil..

Ok I have a 97 Prelude SH and I just bought it a couple months ago, and as soon as I got it in the driveway I drained it and put a mobil one filter and 10w 30 (its hot here). Well I getting close to 3000 miles and I checked it and sure enough not touching the stick...

The car is a one owner (older man) and has 87K miles

I have not noticed any oil on the pavement

May be a little oil at the bottom of te oil pan but not no more than expected.

Doesn't smell like its burning oil / no black smoke on hi-rev

I drive the car but I don't beat on it... too bad

any suggestions?

Chris

preludes burn oil...get used to it. run thicker oil like a 40 weight and don't bother with synthetic

oil is your friend check it everytime you buy gas or you will spin a bearing eventually

oil passes through the shitty rings and burns off you won't notice it
