Urgent question! Installing cams need torque specs.
hey What are the torque specs for the Cam caps for the B20B? Installing 404's right now. And aslo the cam gear bolt torque spec. Please anyone Thanks!

Can't give you the torque specs; but let me know how they feel when your done.
I've got a B20B4, with CAI, DC 4-2-1, no cat, and cam gears (on stock, soon to be 404 cams), mated to a GSR tranny.
I've heard they're going to suck on the low C/R.

And someone gave you the cam gear torque numbers.
You're in luck:
Here's what it says for that part in the Helms. I'm assuming you already have the cams, valves, rocker arms, stems, etc in with the proper seals and whatnot, right?

Tighten the camshaft holders temporarily.
Make sure that the rocker arms are properly positioned on the valve stems.
Tighten each bolt in two steps to ensure that the rockers do not bind on the valves.
Note: Wipe off the excess of liquid gasket from No. 1 and No. 6 camshaft holder with a shop towel.
And your magic info.....
Tighten to 9.8 Nm or 7.2 ft-lbs
