I have a 94 Turbo GSR. It throws a Knock Sensor CEL after 3000 RPM's. I know its not detonating that early and it shouldnt detonate at all because it never has. The compression is lowered to 9:1. I run 93 octane. My timing is not advanced. Is there any way to bypass the knock sensor and trick it somehow. Please tell me what my options are. Possible ECU swap. I cant afford Hondata. I cant tune it while it is throwing a Knock Sensor CEL. Thanks for your help.

 

Chip your ECU and take off the knock sensor in Uberdata

 

Another option if you don't want to mess with your stock ECU is to pick up a chipped p28. p28's don't come with knock sensors.
