Removing Dead Pedal
So I'm pulling the carpet out of my wife's 89 Si and I've got it all out except for under the dead pedal. I can't find any screws or bolts, how does it attach? Does it just go on with push fasteners? Any hints are greatly appreciated!
take a small tip screw driver and pry the plate off....the grooved section can be removed. then loosen the 2 bolts that hold it in. be very careful the bolts are known to break off and then you have a nice hole in your floor.

Ya, I just broke the darn top stud off, and now there is a dime sized hole in my car
I will have to weld it back on later, ohhh and it broke off because the deadpedal didn't have anything to rest, because of the removal of carpet and tar.
