Does anyone know the procedure in removing the rear windows on a Integra 2-door coupe?

I'm referring to the small rear windows with the black molding around it.

i tried everything in the book when i painted my teg, didnt get em out, what a *****

 

It involves removing the molding, making a hole in the sealant, and then cutting the sealant all the way around w/ piano wire. That's what the Helm's manual shows.

 

You will break the glass in the attempt. Know this before you start.

 

use a cold knife (tool not a knife that's cold ) and go around the windshield to cut the ureathane apart. It's pretty hard not to break the glass if you have never done it before.

 

if you havent done it iam sure if you have a training area near you they will do it in a day or so ........


when i was in auto collision repair we learned how to do it if you have the right tools.............. go to a school and get it done it should be free if there already learning about it or might be like 5 bucks to do
