Default Problems you have had with this engine - Integra 1.8 Dohc Vtec 1994

What problems should I look out for, I am about to buy the above mentioned Integra 4door, with 80k miles. Lacquer is coming away from the rear bumper so price is reduced, I have someone I know who can repsray very well and will hope to get it redone professionally so it lasts 4 years easily....or more...

What should I watch out for, and check on car?

How do I know it is burning to rich?

Thanks Niaz

PS whatever else you think cheers!

Is it stock? Ask the owner if the Tbelt and valves have been adjusted. Thats about it. There are no other problems that i can think of that'll be expensive to fix.

do a compression check also. I forget what numbers to look for

honda says should be 135-199psi w/ max variance of 28 psi between cylinders. the most important thing is that the numbers are close together

80K is a BABY for a b18. people have 130K on their engines and then TURBO them (good compression results are a must though)!
if your ****'s in order, that car can last you 10 years
