Default Brake Service Lights Comes on Sporadically

'00 Accord SE. Brake Service light comes on periodically early in the morning, then goes off after a few minutes. Pads and fluids look fine to me. What could the problem be?

Also, I have heard that the rotors need to be turned on an on-car lathe instead of being removed and then turned. Is this true? Is it hard to get the rotors off myself? Is a standard brake shop a safe place to get the rotors turned?

A:check your tail lights one might be out or not making a proper connection

this is not true it's not difficult to remove the rotors there are only 2 bolts holding the brake caliper and braket on there. as long as the brake shop knows what their doing. but you can buy rotors off of ebay cheaper and you can get the performanc set instead.

hope this helps
