Default gutted out rear interior with speakers still in tact? (crx)

i know gutting out the interior only saves so much weight, i'm even still debating to keep it in or not...but just for reference, is it possible? i've seen somebody do it in an eg hatchy, but not a crx...i honestly don't understand how some people can NOT have a radio or cd player in their car ...anyway, has anybody done this and if so, could you provide pictures?

thank in advance

the rear speakers are mounted to brackets which are mounted directly to the body. you can leave the speakers where they are and take out every other piece of the interior if you wanted to.

The only real problem with doing that is that IF you go with a rollbar or rollcage, you'll probably have to lose the speakers in that location. So you'd have to really fabricate something if you don't have the interior shelf to hang them from instead.

Wouldn't be impossible, mind you, but would add to the degree of difficulty.
