just installed my cusco u-brace
i just installed my cusco u-brace on friday and just wanted to tell you guys that it really works... i was actually quite surprised... it doesn't seem like it would do anything but it does.... the overstear isn't as bad as before and the rear end isn't as happy..... i give it a
and only for $150 it's well worth it...

the x-brace or similar braces help stiffen up the chassis in the front, providing a bit more control of the steering, but it shouldn't not, nor will it, change the behaviour of oversteer or rear end control. it's not an active part of the suspension to do so. while the characteristics might help you believe that it does, it really doesn't.
but interested to see pictures of what this brace looks like.
also, as quoted in many books, if you feel like your car handles like its on rails, then you aren't going fast enough.

I don't want to make you unhappy but as far as the brace "stiffening" up the chassis, it'll be most apparent on a car that has seen many many miles, hard track miles where the chassis has been stressed. However, it'll be a long time before I think the s2000 would need any sort of chassis stiffening bars to make things right since the car isn't "loose" from the factory and doesn't get "loose" with everyday driving.
