ZC having truoble reving- also throwing codes
I've seen topics like this before but I can't find one of them. Anyway, a friend of mine is having trouble with his ZC. It acts like it's hitting rev limiter at 4k RPM's. It is also throwing a code 4 and code 10. Double checked wiring and all that, what is the problem? Help please.

so i guess this is a common problem with the DOHC ZCs? i'm abotu to put one in my car any day now....i hope it doesn't happen to me
bad distributors are a problem on all early Hondas, not just the ZC - actually B16's have more bad distributors than ZC's - after all, they are about 15 years old

did you have to re wire the car for the zc? i had this problem when i installed the d16 in the hatch. my problem was the splice at the ecu. my directions were a little confusing, and i didnt cut a wire when i spliced into it.
