i'm doing a mini me with a A6 block/y8 head/IM. the prob is wich head studs should i use? i'm going to boost it so i'm getting thiker head gasket to lower C/R. but hteres this guy, Tom, on the sponsored tread that sell ARP head studs for around $160 so i want to get the right ones. any info let me know....

 

Head studs for $160??? Try http://www.lightningmotorsports.com...if i remember correctly i got my D16 ARP studs for well under $100 shipped to my door.

I'd say match the studs to the head...pretty much all D series blocks are the same.

Ive got a set of d16a6 arp head studs brand new never used still in the box Ill sell for 50 bucks.

u mean get the y8 studs since i'm geting the y8 head.... right?

 

I actually posted this in on the D-series.org board and got a response backing me up. The head is what should be matched...
