I have toda C's install in my itr. My car idles only at 2000rpm anything lower and it shuts off. What do spec C's normally Idle at, also I am getting a tps check engine code......would this have anything to do with the idling. My header is just a basic dc 4-1 header, would this also have anything to do with the idling. Yes I know, I will change the header soon.....
What are you using to manage the fuel? Chipped ecu? VAFC? FPR?
Whatever it is, you need to lean it out at idle a bit or it will cut off. You might also have to play with the iab screw on the throttle body and turn it clockwise a bit to lower the idle point...
Post up the codes you are throwing and we'll go from there... Also, what other mods do you have and what are your cam gears set at?

clip a multimeter to the tps prongs(unplug it) negative on middle and positive on bottom, switch to (k) ohms setting and you should read between 650-850k ohms if not you need to loosen and move until it reads this. usually best imbetween those values.750 or so

my teg is a 95 with 2000 type r swap. I have godspeed computer to handle 440cc injectors. I am getting code tps code and manifold absolute pressure codes. The car idles only at 2000 rpm or more. my toda cam gears are set at 0....I try to adjust it to 800 rpm, but it shuts off all the time. The car can only be started with my foot on the throttle.......
maybe the map and tps plugs are switched around? otherwise, try leaning out the fuel below 1k rpm, and opening the idle air screw on the throttle body until it doesnt shut off anymore.
