Default gsr b16 head?

was wondering if the compression would be higher lower or the same using a gsr block with b16 head.. and a stock head gasket??.. ive heard a couple of turbo guys going with gsr block and b16 heads to lower the compression but, they dont use stock head gaskets either....anyone have the spec gsr/b16 lemme know thanks.

i could have sworn if you put a gsr head on your b16a it would raise compression so in that sense if you do vise-versa it would lower compression...

it will lower it .2:1 according to c-speed...

Its the gsr head that has the higher compression due to the smaller square quench area. The B16 has a more open round quench area which lowers the compression a touch, but of course can be changed with different thicknesses of headgaskets.
