mcmaster carr vacuum manifold installation ok?

Default mcmaster carr vacuum manifold installation ok?

I removed the check valve for the brake booster vacuum line and placed the manifold inline there. is this an ok place for it??

no its not ok...

put that check valve in or you could end up w/ no brakes...

is it ok to run the manifold inline before or after the check valve, or do i have to tee it?

u want to run the manifold before the check valve if your following the vacuum hose to the brake booster.. so closer to the engine..

and you can run it inline or T it off.. i teed mine off and it works out well.. im happy with it..

thanks for your help, im going to run it inline because i bought two of the nipples, not the 1/4" brass plug
