Default H&R Sport Springs or Eibach Sportlines?

What do you guys think would be better for my 4dr TEG, its also gonna be on the stock fat five rims, and on stock shocks(for now) and also, i dont want the rear lower than the front like i've seen other cars, so what springs will keep the front lower than the car? or atleats even drop, i dont want the back lower than the front.

That's normal.

H&R sports do not have the correct spring rate to compensate for the drop. Eibach does.

I owned a pair of H&R sports and hated them. The dumped my car 3-4 inches all the way around and rode horribly. I'd never recommend them to anyone.

Eibach

i agree fully.. i had a set of H&R race springs on my 92 Si and they rode fine with stock shocks.. i'm sure a set of tokico illuminas would have made it even better. every car i've seen with Eibachs sits lower in the rear than the front and to me that just doesn't look right. the H&R give a real nice looking drop i'm about to put a set of H&R race springs w/ Tokico Illuminas on my 94 teg.

I really like the drop on the H&R's, but I have never ridden on any. The odd looking drop of the sportlines can be corrected easily with adjustable perch shocks, so its a non-issue to me. I bought sportlines before doing much research, and am rather happy with what I ended up with.

I got the H&R sports and I love them...The sportlines are like $100 more too for a .25 inch more drop in the back.

I had the H&Rs and they sucked. They slammed my car, and sagged even more after a few months. I would never recommend them to anyone.

My car is dropped more in the rear and that **** looks tight! Plus I have better handling since I adjusted it that way. I would go with skunk coilover or ground control over both those!Your ride though if I had 4 door I would want a stiffer suspension skunk are real stiff ground control are pretty in between not to stiff not to soft but thats just my opinion!

I had H&R sport before on my DB8, they were paired up with blues. They were perfect for daily driver, it wasn't to bouncy or stiff. It's just right, plus the drop on the car is never been done better. The drop with H&R sport are so perfect to me because i can ride over stock bump goin about 18mph n/p. But i have no what so ever kit on my car it's bone stock.

But when it can down to handling, it wasn't the perfect springs you'll want. on autocross with this springs. The spring rate is just not high enough and it won't gave you that nice stiff, no body roll type of ride. Dont get me wrong it still performs. In fact, they perform alot better then the springs i got before them which were tokico springs. They were ****, i swear those are the most stock feeling performance springs you'll feel. The reason i swap them out was because i couldn't pass up on a offer i got on tein. Right now, that's my best mod i've done to the car. TEINS .

Almost forgot to tell you why i wouldn't pick eibach. Mainly because of the drop it gave the car. Its just ulgy to me, seems like you alwayz have two 12's sitting in your car. Plus if you drag, that stands is not good. Another reason is eibach are known to also make soft springs. Even though the H&R dont have high enough spring rate, i believe that H&R will still gave a better feel all around. I hope this helped.

H&R for my pick

Well i dont have any 12's or anything in the trunk at all for that matter, except a spare.

I would say Eibach, and they were great but they were on my 95 Accord. I have a 98 Teg now and I'm thinking about the Eibach Prokits.

Here's my car last year with Eibach Sportlines and Koni Yellows. I set the front perch shock to the lowest setting to even out the ride height.

From what I've seen, H&R's begin to sag after a while. My sportlines have sagged a little bit the ride height is very even and comfy.

k..heres my experience... i had sportlines and the back looked lower than the front but that can be fixed. but when it comes to ride comfort, it was perfect. i had stock shocks and it rode perfectly. Now i have skunk2s with blues on and i freakin hate it!!! it rides like **** to me. its pretty bouncy and a few of my homies say the same thing. so i think ill be goin back to my sportlines.

so i recommend u SPORTLINES

Here is an OLD pic of my car with H&R sports. I think the drop is perfect even after I got my OEM kit on and it's been about a year so if it sagged any, which I didn't notice at all, it would have happened by now. As far as shocks go it's sitting on KYB AGX's. My opinion is this setup is perfect for daily driving. Spending anymore money I could just go with coilovers.

Save yourself time and fustration and just get shocks when you put the springs on. Lowering the car on stock shocks... Just isn't worth it.

Oh and.. P1mpSlap

The H&R Sports dumped your car 4 inches?! I'm I reading this correctly, or did you cut them? I'm confused
