Default clutch smells real bad

I did a burnout in the rain 2 nights ago all the way up to 5th gear but i think my clutch was slipping the whole time. now everytime i get out of the car i smell my clutch. How much longer should my clutch last before it goes out like real bad. do yall think i did any real serious damage?

do 2-5th gear burn outs a few more times. it should knock everything back into place.

I thought you had to do a burn out in Reverse to fix that problem

Id suggest saving up for another clutch and install.

Seriously, i think it'll just take some time. Give it a week or so and is it doesn't go away then you might have a problem. Shifting gears isn't a problem for you right now is it?

naw when i shift its fine, well everything is fine my clutch still grabs the same it feels like. But my clutch as been slippin for a while now cause before when i shifted fast like the rpms would stay up for a while and then it finally catches and then the rpms go back to normal. What i was trying to ask was is this gonna do any permanant damage or any thing like to my transmission or im i just ****** my clutch up more

Well if it slips and keeps on slipping then you might want look into getting a new one, cause you might have worn your clutch disk down.

Obviously, this was not your first time doing something like this. I think you should get your clutch changed.

Also, learn how to drive.

Racing in the friggin rain is not a good idea. And if your clutch was slipping it would be in all gears. Mine slips a little when the car is cold, but i have an act 6 puck, heavy duty pressure plate, and fidanza flywheel waiting for that little bastard
