What parts?
Like many people have posted before im going to go all motor but with the possibility off adding nitrous later. A friend that works at a local shop and i were trying to come up with a good setup for an every day driver but yet a sleeper.
Things so far on car:
-Apexi WS 2 cat back
-7lb. Comptech Flywheel
-AEM CAI
-ACT clutch (forgot the version) with extreme pressure plate
-Venom 400 (most likely going to sell this part)
-ITR Tranny
Things that we have compilled so far to add:
-Over sized pistons
-ITR Cams...was Skunk 2 but can't decide
-A header
-Valve springs
-AEBS Intake manifold...when released
-Apexi VAFC II
The person that is helping me hasn't had time to get with me on the exact parts and other minor details that i will need to change in order to do this right but i figured i would get some input from you guys since most of you seem knowledgeable when it comes to the all motor set up. The installation i can do it is just knowing the right parts to buy. Please give me any input. Thanks

Just shove an LS6 motor in there. 400+ stock hp will get you going pretty fast and be reliable.
OK just kidding. Go with what you like. How fast you want to go? You can build a decent running all motor engine that sounds virtually stock. That is the beauty of the vtec. Stock lobes and don't go overboard with the compression and no one will know.
But whats a sleeper? Is that a car with a body kit and carbon fiber tailights that is actually fast. Anything with an APC sticker that is fast I would consider a sleeper.

the Venom 400 = TRASH dont even bother.
How high do you want your compression to be? If you plan on upping the compression, then squeezing a shot of nitrous there is a possiblity that you will not be able to detonate the nitrous and it'll blow your motor up. AKA compression = way too high.

Not be able to detonate your nitrous? HMMMMMMM Never heard that one before. I don't get it. Nitrous is fine on a high compression engine you just have to know how to tune it. Cylinder pressure can be a great thing. It can also be a dangerous thing. Just gotta know what you are doing.

You've aparently never used or know nothing about Nitrous at all.
So lets say you are running 13.1 like I did. If I shot a 70shot in there my 93 octane would burn it and create HP?

I want to be in the low 13's...well i hope to be at least. And what i mean when i say sleeper is that the car looks stock from the outside besides the exhaust (that is why i chose a quiet one), lowered, and tinted windows...none of that exterior crap.

This is whyi have someone from a local shop helping me b/c im still trying to learn things like compression. The only things i know about it are that if you go to high you can't run on pump gas but usually the higher you go the more power your motor will be producing...i think. This is the first time im going to go inside a motor and replace things.
