Default A1 Tranny?

Man the guy I bought the car from said I had a S1 tranny. Looked at it today and rubbed the gunk off. **** say A1? Is that the stock 91 LS tranny?

You're looking at the wrong part. The A1 is the end of the engine block code. You have a 91 Integra I'm assuming?

Your motor code is B18A1

Your tranny numbers will be on the transmission itself on a sticker.

Also FYI: No such thing as an A1 tranny anyway.

Yes, the "A1" is your stock tranny. 90-91 integras came with a1's or s1's (although these s1's had the taller gearsets unlike the s1's which came with some 89-91 b16a equipped xsi's).

you shouldnt have a YS1 in a 90 unless its a tranny you put in there yourself. YS1s were from 92-93 and either the LS gears or the GSR gears were in them
