GSR Question.
A friend of mine swapped a GSR engine into a little civic hatchback. I dont know very much about hondas so bear with me. Since the car is NA most moderatly priced mods (intake, exhuast etc) wouldnt really add much of an improvment or would they? Also, (im not trying to start flame wars) how would a stock GSR do against an MKIII Turbo Supra on a roll or in the 1/4?
Thanks guys, some help would be really helpful.

This isn't a forum for which car would win, etc.
Go out and race and find out for yourself. There are too many variables to consider (Driver, condition of the engines, weight of the cars, etc. way too much **** to even come close to being able to know.).
As far adding performance. Go header back (JDM DC 4-1, no cat, 2.25"-2.5" exhaust, ITR cams, )...thats right around $1,000 and you'll be happy with the gains. It'll add some very nice midrange power. With a VAFC and some dyno time you could push more out it, perhaps a Skunk2 IM. Also, if that hatch is very light, that thing will move right along. I've seen some all hatchs with B18C1 swaps go into the 13's in nearly stock form. Pending on how light the hatch is that is....with just a few mods it would easily be a mid/high 13 second car. Which would handle a stock MKIII turbo Supra. Which from my experience run in the high 14's stock. However, with mods those things can haul ***. Stock for Stock, it'd be a good run...drivers race. Depends on driver and the weight of the cars. Too many variables, just race and find out. Safely
