i dont know what kind of gear lube goes in my 2000 5speed tranny and what kind goes in the differental i also have queaf lsd in it and im planing on useing redline or royal purple thanks for your help

 

use Honda MTF.

I've heard good things about royal pruple but havn't tried it yet.

but when I used Redline, I found that it was great at first, but shifting started to get tough after a few k miles. had to change it more often to keep her shifting smooth. just my $.02

 

well i was wondering if there was a sertain weight or something or do i just ask for royal purple gear lube and do i use the same lube in the differential?

 

When I had my clutched and flywheel changed out, they used Redline MTF, and it was ok at first, but 3k miles later, it sucked. I use GM synchromesh MTF, but if you havent had any grinding problems, use Honda MTF.
