help me pass emmisions
hey whats up all, i recently got the jdm h22a for my 95 prelude, went in for my va state inspection/emmissions and i failed emmissions due to nox, im gettin a new cat, but believe that because of the jdm's ridiculously advanced timing (compaired to us. spec) that i will never be able to pass emmisions..... anyone able to give me any ideas, i only have like 12 days left before i have to have it reinspected.......

93 JDM H22, JDM p13, Civic cat, non-working EGR = horrible failure. I think I scored 148ppm on CO where the limit was 10 lol
Granted, the ignition and fuel filter were kinda old. Also, the cat lowered CO to 148 from 160... so not a big change in that dept.

the timing isnt ridiculously advanced actually on JDM ecus, it is a different timing curve than the USDM but its not anything to get axcited about.
if you ahve high nox retard your timing some or find some way to richen your fuel up if your HC and CO are low.
