A few days ago when i just got home, i died out right in front of the driveway??!! I tried starting the car up but it just kept craking. I thought it was my main relay for the fuel pump because it was acting up for the pat few months. When the key is in the second position the check engine light is on and I dont hear the fuel pump go on. Those are symptoms when the main relay goes bad from what i got when i searched. So then i take out my relay and resoldered it, put it back in and it still doesnt work. Got my friends main relay off a 93 si and put it in mine and still doesnt work. I put my old one in his and his car didnt work. So off the bat of my head i think my relay is jacked. What should i do next? Buy a main relay, check all the fuses? But would any of the fuses have anythin to do with being able to hear if the fuel pump will turn on? any ideas on what to do? SOrry for the long *** post.

Thanks for the help. Just to let you know i was searching...but there are dozens of threads that have "car won't start" so i dont know which one to read. If you guys have suggestions or can direct me to the right thread i would appreciate it.

 

if you havent checked your fuses check them and post again.. check every single fuse if your are not sure wich one us for the fule..

 

well with the symptoms i have...what other problems could it be? I mean do i have to check every fuse? If i cant hear my fuel pump go on what should be the problem? Main relay, fuel pump itself, etc? please help thanks
