I see some people use the red top some the yellow top.... what is the difference
and what should i use?

 

optima yellow top is a deep cycle battery..im thinking about getting an odyssey battery

 

are you relocating it to the back? the stock battery is fine for the b18 cranks it up ok but if your determined to buy one get a yellow top. I think the difference is how long the battery lasts when its being used and the car is off the yellow top will go longer.

I relocated mine like the article but used 2ga amp power cable instead of 4ga. I can tell no diff in cranking. I do not have a large sound system, jus a am/fm cd player, no amp or sub.
