faded red paint
this is my car.. for some odd reason.. the rear 1/4 quarter panel is faded compared to the rest of my car. is there any way i can fix this or would i need a complete paint job? i think it would be a waste of money because the rest of my car looks great, just the rear 1/4 panel is off!
hmm thats weird...never seen anything like that before...
if youre worried about re-painting the whole car now, id just keep it the way it is, til the paint starts to get ugly...then later down the road just repaint it when/if u got the dough...
better yet, can i just have your car? lol

naw, it's not that. when i first bought the car, i had no money for insurance. so i parked it at an odd angle in the garage. the sun only hit that spot so i guess it faded away..

flip the car around and leave the front half out in the sun til it matches

My paint guy had no problems matching my paint for my OEM kit, ITR wing, and hatch.
I say atleast try to get it matched first, should only set you back $100-200.

I think its just a base coat clear coat and the matching aint bad compared to like beige colors

this is correct. makes it easy for us body shop guys to do good work
However i do suggest buffing it with some fine rubbing compound... if that dosent work, paint match. Spending the extra 30 bucks could save you the extra 150-200 bucks
