i have a dvh-p5000mp (dvd player) and i was wondering if i buy a avx-p7000cd will i have to have a brain for the avx-7000cd or can i just wire the avx-p7000cd to the dvh-p5000mp?

you do NOT need a brain if your gonna run that dvd unit.

IMO just by the brain. and ditch the other dvd player... best possible way IMO, why do people run 2 seperate hu's

well this unit that has the 7 in screen only plays cd's and i already have the other dvd unit so it would be pointless to me to go out and search for a brain just so i can only play cd's and not dvd's.

 

ok, now i have both units and i am being told that i cant do it. they say i need a brain. why do they say this?

 

who are "they" if "they" are audio sellers... dont listen to them.. theyre just trying to sell old ****...
