Default H22 Euro r

Is the H22 Euro r an open or closed deck?

Also, where does the Ero R find it's Extra power and torque from or specificaly the 10 lb ft tq?

Assuming the H22 Euro R has an open deck, the remaing a would a closed deck be able to be swapped into place instead of an open deck?

According to JDM Honda parts it makes ten more. See the link below. That was what I was going by.

Your math skills aren't so good. Maybe you should check the link again.

USDM H22a = 158 ftlbs
JDM H22a = 161 ftlbs
Euro-R = 163ftlbs

5 more than USDM, 2 more than JDM. The main reason is higher compression

My math skills are fine. Maybe you should check your reading skills and stop flamming people.

TYPE S

2.2 Liter DOHC VTEC Engine hydro operated tranny 220hp/153tq/11.0 Compression Ratio. Motor Swap incls LSD Tranny, ECU, axles with half shaft, stock shift linkage, stock motor mounts, alternator, starter, clutch, flywheel, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel rail, injectors, distributor, engine harness. Motors average 15,000 miles and come with a 100% start up warranty.

EURO R

2.2 Liter DOHC VTEC Engine hydro operated tranny 220hp/163tq/11.0 Compression Ratio. Motor Swap incls LSD Tranny, ECU, axles with half shaft, stock shift linkage, stock motor mounts, alternator, starter, clutch, flywheel, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel rail, injectors, distributor, engine harness. Motors average 15,000 miles and come with a 100% start up warranty.

163 - 153 = 10

Wow if that is true, then you just REALLY made my day and reinforced that I made a good choice with the Euro-R over the Type-S. Cool, I love torque. i would trade 2 HP for every +1 torque if I could. HP is so easy to get compared to Tq

hahah that's a typo....type-s and euro-r are both 163, they are the same.

does it make much sense that a type-S would make 5 tq LESS than a USDM H22a?

you need better sources for information

I have a 92 Honda Prelude with a H22a and would like to get aprox. what you are making for power. Could you give me some insite on your build. Maybe a product list or somthing like that. My base line dyno run was 168 horse and 152 ft pounds.
Thanks

don't play innocent with me. you have a well documented history of some of creating some of the more annoying threads (also evidenced by your beauty title) that I really don't have much patience for your stuff. At least I answered it.

Then consider this your invitation to stay the F*** off of any thread I create. YOu have the rest of the websuite to flame. Go flex your muscle with them or if you want we can meet offline and setle this once and for all.
