help me adjust my eq
ok, i have no real knowledge of car audio, but i do know my speakers sound like crap right now. on my deck, i see the following.. what does it all mean?
70Hz | 150Hz | 400Hz | 1kHz | 2.4kHz | 2.4 kHz | 6 kHz | 12kHz
ok, here's the deal. i can adjust each freq. from -5 to +5.. so right now it's all on zero. so my eq looks like this ----------

Dude, throw us a bone here!
Give us some more info. - like what mfr and head unit model. Are these frequencies for the fronts? rears? both?
We'll tell you how to make adjustments - just give us the right info. man!

Use your ears. Usually people boost highs and lows, and leave the middles in the middle...make sure the sound is balanced well, like not too much lows and too little highs, or the other way around.
PS. left frequencies are lower than right frequencies.

Try to play with it yourself, and if you can't tell the difference or what sounds better, then you probably don't have to touch it at all and leave it at line level.
