For those of you that relocated your oil filter, where did you move it to? I am not all that happy about having to relocate the battery if I relocate the filter to the battery tray location, so I am looking for somewhere else.

hahahaha...I'm laughing because I've actually seen it done that way before...maybe I'll have to grab the parts and see where I can fit them into the engine bay.

 

Just out of curiosity...why do people relocate the oil filter? Just for easier access when changing it? Or maybe when installing an oil cooler?

I have an oil cooler/oil filter relocation kit and I wouldn't mind relocating the filter, as I'm tired of dripping oil onto my header when I change the oil, I know . I'm going to change all of the tubing that came with the kit to SS lines so i'm looking for a place to put it first before I start purchasing lines and fittings.

That's what I was thinking...I want the filter vertical, not horizontal.

 

Then comes the putrid reek of the whole mess that lasts for about a week.... bleeghhhrrrr........ and I'd like to think I wipe it pretty damn clean..... not to mention brake clean it so there's no road grim stuck everywhere.....
