I have an Autometer Ultra lite boost guage and before it would hit 15psi, it would flutuate. Like the needle would shake between 14-16psi. Im running a Turbo XS high performance boost controller and the boost guage is hooked up to a Golden eagle vacuum block.....Anyone had this problem?

 

i have seen it on other gauges that don't have an inline restrictor. They would tend to flutter up to full boost then hold there. maybe you just need to make a little 'pill' with a tiny hole drilled in it to smooth it out. I would just run it if that is really what the boost pressure is doing.

I think the fitting on the back of an autometer gauge already has a small hole. i don't know i guess. does it bother you?
